Where do THEY live? None of the newspapers that survive around here will deliver. Not even to an (admittedly 40 mile distant) store where we would have liked to go buy one from time to time.
Locally contractors torn down an old house to make way for tract homes. In the rubble I found a 1957 newspaper that was stuffed in a wall. Oh, the grocery prices and that advertisement for the new Ford Galaxy Hardtop convertible! Sadly, nothing about Sputnik.

But the newest one is dated seven years ago. Oh well, read the comics and move on. Maybe reline the bird cage and panty shelves first.

I really enjoy the comics, but I almost never chuckle out loud. But this one really got me.
