Looks like a steady job with a long future. A good place to start out if you’re just out of high school (or maybe even during). A paycheck, meals, experience, a resume to use when you move on, a chance to learn from more experienced people….

Hey. If they’re clean enough to stop eating off of, they’re clean enough to start eating off of.

The “just buy more dishes” strategy turned out to be unsustainable.

It’s really hard to get your foot in the door at this place.

At first glance this cartoon made me think of a failed version of Edward Hopper’s Nighthawks.
