Little known fact. They are technically known as “Lightkeeper’s Stations”. Lighthouse is sort of a colloquial name. I bet Mr. Lux there is timing the light beam sweep interval, or if it is foggy, the foghorn interval. Or he could just be wondering where his Uber Eats delivery is.

Two things I think of whenever I see a lighthouse:
1) It’s a brazzle-dazzle day!
2) Crazy moose is loose in the hoose!
