I’ve seen this movie many times. to the point I no longer see it as SciFi, but a futuristic drama. I take the air-cars, the androids, and the space travel for granted, which lets me enjoy the story even more. The sequel is good, but I’m still working on that one. Gotta watch it a few more time.s

No cats in “Blade Runner”, but there are in the novel it was based on, Philip K. Dick’s “Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep”. Robotic ones.

Could have been lots of very stealthy cats in that movie. The.Ones.Who.Wait.

Other authors for consideration: Celine, Faulkner, Bukowski, Thomas Hardy.

One of the actors who died in that movie later died in the year it was set.
