fritzoid, you could not be more wrong abour manned space exploration. There are many things that could not be done otherwise. Without the Apollo missions and the samples from it we would not have solved the moon’s origins. We will not find life on Mars (if it exists) with unmanned probes; it’s too well hidden. Most of all humanity will not be secure until it exist in more than one place. Is that compelling enough reason?
