Name me a college hockey program that generates enough revenue to do at best any better than break even on expenses. There might be one or two, but I doubt it – and whatever they do net is undoubtedly a relative pittance.
total agreement. Most colleges live and die on football pgms. No other sports.
If anyone read the SI article on the BCS and what it really costs the colleges has to wonder why the ADs want to keep the current system
