The problem with tailgating now is the television blackouts. My daughter and her hubby used to have season tickets to the Bucs games and had a regular group that they tailgated with at the home games. When Tampa Bay started to increase the ticket prices while diminishing their on field performance, the attendance decreased considerably and they began enforcing the Blackout rule in hopes of bringing in spectators. It had the opposite effect. Many fans, like my daughter, gave up their season tickets in protest. The fun in the parking lot diminished because the fans could see the game on their sets due to the blackout. BTW I’m a Saints fan. Sorry Tampa but tomorrow won’t be your day !Laissez le bon temps rouler !
