I got fed up with my hair starting to mat that I decided to shave it off and maintain that way until a vaccine is developed and deployed. The Skull Shaver will pay for itself after 15 weeks.
Fortunately I got mine cut just before the lockdown so I’m good for another 3 months. If it wasn’t such a pain I would just let it go until it is as long as I had it in high school but it costs more for them to “style” it rather than just having a barber cut it.
Hey, this has been a great opportunity to let my hair grow out longer – I love it! This is about the longest I’ve been able to grow it out since I was 17 (in 1970!); my ex-wife wouldn’t let me, since it suggested a “bad attitude” (current wife is much more supportive), plus I had to keep it a decent length working in a professional setting. Trouble is that now, with it having a “large percentage” of white and way past my collar, along with a beard, I look like an old biker. I get my hair cut by my wife’s hairdresser, where the clientele is mostly women, and love going in and making the old (and not so old) women envious (“I wish I had hair like that young man!” and “Thick wavy hair is always wasted on men!”. I don’t hear the “young man” part much anymore, however, and the old ladies don’t seem to be so old anymore either.

My wife cuts my hair, and I trim and shape her ends and assist with the magic (her hair coloring). It’s a win-win for both of us!
