Question, what if Drew Bledsoe hadn’t gotten injured and replaced by Brady in 2000? What if Belichick had not started Brady over Bledsoe in 2001? Without Brady would Belichick have remained as coach for so many years?

Football gets more complicated every year.

I think Kraft is trying to negotiate with Belichick for a nice retirement package at the end of this season with a special tribute for the Coach at the beginning of next one. We’ll have to see if Belichick’s ego gets in the way of Kraft’s plan to allow Bill to go out with a modicum of face-saving and grace.
