They don’t seem to be to thin with hunger. Yeah, I have to agree except I don’t think it’s a ranch. It’s just a private hunting ground that this guy set up without government approval. Therefore, their “arrests” have no legal standing.
It does kind of remind you of the early environmental laws in this country where people complained they couldn’t make a living to keep some small, unheard of species alive.
The Kigali will be issued food vouchers to use at the local supermarket, and a Peace Corps manual on embracing a vegan lifestyle. Tarzan and the Warden will become best buds after they fight off the real poachers together.
And there you have the African paradox. Inside fence, grazing meadows and bush meat. Outside the fence overgrazed scorched dirt, and starving native poachers.
