I am reminded of the ending of “Tarzan the Terrible” (1921) which is available at Project Gutenberg. .“And then they turned once more toward the north and with light hearts and brave hearts took up their long journey toward the land that is best of all—home.”
What a terrible ending, never seeing Toom chomped by that Ma-Amu crocodile. Maybe Ma-Amu is keeping him as a pet? What next for beautiful Amra, surely she doesn’t “breed” with those smelly and hairy cave men pf Vaar? And what of the never seen “Tara” character…….. Sure a lot of,loose ends on this tale. :)> SundayStripTomorrowUGHAGowa!!
Boy, this one was just full of throat-clutching suspense and littered with surprises! Now I can start breathing again, and get ready for “Tarzan And The Leopard Men”, with the famous African hero, Jerry Jerome (I think it’s the next one, anyway).

Have been reading Tarzan and the Ant Men, guess I am about 2/3 of the way through now. Read Tarzan and the Lion Man just before this.

Man, that was a quick rap it up. We didn’t get to see the croc tear Toom from limb to limb. I wanted to see some pain and suffering.

@J. ShortI agree. I even looked back if I missed some parts of the cartoon series. On the other hand, Toom might be helpful in another story.
