Palaver: Prolonged and tedious fuss or discussion. I just learned a new word, or is it just me? Tell me that this is not an everyday word that people commonly use.
We had a palaver here at the office this morning about the word palaver. There was a panoply of ideas about it but we decided to just re-read the strip and enjoy how Tarzan is sniffing the women’s spoor.
Is this the nurse Tarzan rescues who falls for him and wants to marry him but ends up marrying the top army guy in a latter strip? If it is, I can’t believe I’ve been following the strip that long that I’m seeing reruns.

Sleeping on the job Tarzan, it could have been a short palaver or parley and the damsel done like dinner while he was napping.
