"Terrorism" The quicker picker-upper! The Pentagon's "total information awareness" domestic spy project was rejected for sounding too Orwellian. But the new"Terrorism information awareness" agency is wildly popular! (Man: It's still evil and creepy, but it's evil creepiness in the name of counter-terrorism.) The conclusion is obvious: Adding "terrorism" to the name of a government agency lets it get away with anything. (Man 1: Sorry 'bout killing your granny with a grenade. Wrong address.) (Woman: Anything for NYPD!) Private corporations are also adding the t-word to their names. (Man 3: Sure we're refusing your claim. But we also turn down claims to our Al Qaeda patients!) (Woman 2: Oh. Ok, then.) Terrorism is saving America. Use it to improve your life! (Man 2: Did I mention what the "T" in John T. Smith stand for?) (Woman 3: I love you.)
