Most people think diversity is a good idea. The question is how to achieve it. (Man: Race-based affirmative action helps rich blacks over poor whites. Class-based makes more sense.) (Man 2: What universities need most is ideological diversity. Both your approaches bring in more minorities and poor people- who are more likely to be liberal!) (Woman: Diversity means different things to different people. Ideally, we choose candidates so representative of the population that they seem randomly selected. (Man 2: Collectors of moths and butterflies!) (Man 3: Musical diversity!) The answer: diversity diversity. (Man 1: Raising the quota for opponents of diversity would remedy their historic under-representation!) (Woman: Think of what that would do to disease-based diversity!)
