Soldier: I wuz aimin' at a P.O.W. General: No problem, then. Soldier: Nice shot! Took out a couple dozen sura! General: Idio! Don't shoot 'em through their Korans! Soldier: Book down! Soldier: The terrorists... covered with Korans! We couldn't shoot! U.S. concentration camp guards have dropped Korans. They have squatted on them. They have even taken a leak on them (while peeing on detainees). Actual incident! Actual defense! Now soldiers in Iraq are using Islam's holy book for target practice! Korans are not like Iraqi or Afghan citizens. They're sacred texts! Protecting the Koran must remain the U.S. military's top priority. It's better to die for our precious values than to live without them.
