NATO and U.S. officials thought they were conducting peace talks with the Taliban's #2 man. Mullah Akhtar Mohammed Mansour. (Man: Of course, I'll need money. To buy off various factions and stuff.) But it wasn't Mansour. It was an imposter. A fraud who BSed and stalled for time as he collected cash "good will" bribes. (Man: We're soon close to peace... maybe some more money...? Also did I mention that I dig your hat?) No one could figure out why "Mansour" never moved forward. (Man 2: Why are we paying you? You make so many promises but you don't do anything!) Who's really living in the white house? (Barack Obama: Why haven't I done anything? Maybe doing nothing is doing something. Hmmm? I need more time and money.
