They say Maggie Thatcher "took on" the unions. That England's economy had been "stagnant" that she "unleashed market forces by privatizing inefficient industries." "Taking on unions" ordering riot police to smash in the skulls of striking miners. "Stagnant" from 1945 until 1980, the english enjoyed the lowest income inequality in history. "privatization" stealing taxpayer-owned businesses from the public and giving them to political cones in corrupt sweetheart deals. "Unleashing market forces" Throwing millions of men, women, and children into the streets. With nowhere to go and no assistance from her government. Thatcherism created a brutal new "everyone looking out for number one." society it validated Reaganism which otherwise would have been an odd ideological singularity.
