The job of the news media is not to report the news. It is to protect the oh-so-delicate feelings of prissy Americans. (Woman: Photos of dead Palestinian kids? Censor them! Too upsetting!) (Man: But they're killed by American missiles.) (Woman: Even more upsetting) Sadly, some layouts forgot their duty to spare us from unpleasantness while reporting details of Robin williams' suicide. (News: After slitting his wrists failed, he hung himself by his belt.) (Man: That imagery will forever haunt my repeated viewings of "Patch Adams!") It isn't hard to guess where nanny journalism is heading. (News: Robin Williams? He's still alive! Living on a farm where he has lots of room to run around and play!) (Man: Yay!)
