Ted Rall for June 03, 2015
Transcript:
In a bid for legitimacy, third world dictators hold elections they can't lose. Not only do their "rival" candidates reuse to attack the ruler... (Bernie Sanders: I won't attack Hillary. No dirty campaigning for me!) They don't have any campaign budget, so voters only see ads and posters for the ruler. (Bernie Sanders: I won't take super pac money... out of principle.) In this facsimile of democracy, the "opponent" even promises to vote for the ruler. (Bernie Sanders: If she wins the nomination, I'll vote for her. Inevitably.)
