Wouldn’t surprise me if what is left of Putin’s generals are telling Putin just that. I’m just trying to figure out why Putin looks a bit like Mike Pence?
WASHINGTON — The ultranationalist Russian philosopher Alexander Dugin, commonly referred to as “Putin’s brain” for his influence within the Kremlin, said earlier this week that the Russian military retreat from Kyiv was a “temporary situation” and predicted that after a regrouping, a broader campaign across Ukraine could commence again.
Dugin made his comments to a Turkish newspaper; the interview was reported on by RIA Novosti, a Kremlin-controlled wire news service that has consistently amplified anti-Ukrainian rhetoric.
“The Russian army is currently fighting the sovereign powers that impose a unipolar world,” Dugin said, in reference to the alliance of pro-Ukraine allies led by the United States. “We cannot lose this war. Otherwise, the whole world will turn into a large fire.”
An eclectic thinker with a fondness for the occult, Dugin has published several books calling for a broader Slavic empire that would include Ukraine, as well as Moldova and Belarus.
Is there a mass exodus of Biden staff for the exits? I took this toon to be Putin’s general feeding him false narratives about Biden’s camp.
My take on Ted Rall is that he wishes for a more decisive leader than the seemingly prodding leader we have in Joe Biden. But, it may well be safer having a prodder-in-chief than a bring-it-on president like “W” that got us into two wars. For all Joe’s shooting off at the mouth, his decisions are very thought out. And, after the all golf all the time president of Dump, it’s nice to have a leader that works at it.
It seems to me that Mr. Biden is not only well advised here, he’s also listening, which would be a change from all the other occupants of the White House since Bush Sr.
Biden is not “crazy” nor isolated, his staff is not quitting and he even takes input from Sanders and Ocasio-Cortez along with many from the other side of the aisle. The very job of the chief executive is to delegate to a competent staff, take all advice and weigh it, then make decisions.
Ukraine and Zelenskyy have thanked and praised the support they have received from the Biden led NATO nations, fighting Russia to a standstill. Biden reunited NATO to the most united in it’s history after tRump insulted it’s members and threatened to quit. Biden has returned the U.S. to be the leader of the free world.
Meanwhile, just last week tRump asked Russia again for help, this time in the 2020 election.
Mr. Rall has gone over the edge. Why do I say that? The middle book of the three large ones in the ad at the bottom of this page is titled,“Political Suicide. The Fight for the Soul of the DEMOCRATIC Party.” He apparently sees no suicide of the soul in the complete takeover of the Republican Party by the former guy.
Jen Psaki was the smartest press secretary I ever witnessed, almost made me forget the hypocrisy of it all. Look out Rachel Maddow, there’s a new sheriff in town.
The more I look at/read this this, the more confused I get. Doesn’t look like Biden nor Putin, yet there’s a minaret and I don’t see a flag of any kind. Oh well.

That’s an interesting mirror. The difference, though, is that Biden is NOT isolated.
