Oh, poor puppy! today I will be visiting my husband hoping he will be coming out of the hospital after a heart attack, I do hope you all are enjoying a happy Autumn day.
I acquired a Russian Blue named Smokey some 35 years ago. If it had been a couple of years later, we would have named him Mr. T or B.A. Some #@^^%* put him in a garbage bag and tossed him out of a moving car in front of my car. I missed him by a couple of inches. He was adult when we got him. and lived for another 12 years or so and died in his sleep one night. Wonderful mouser, used to bring his catch to my mother and would not dispatch it until she told him what a wonderful, clever boy he was. Then he would eat it.
I have been adopted by a Russian Blue named Big Grey. Early in our relationship he bit my hand and I took massive amounts of antibiotics so the infection would go away. Since then, we have become good buds and now he’s called Biggie. It was a rough start!
RikiTavi; that was just flat out adorable!! Only one of our ever wanted to be covered up but that doesn’t mean I’m not going to be on the look out for pie fabric and give it a try.
…my half-Russian Blue half-Siamese (he looked like a blue) was Genghis…lived up to his name…I also had the antibiotic shots for a bitten hand, and I had had him for years at the time…he passed about 3 years ago at 19 1/2…pretty good age for a cat :) …
Dry and Dusty said, 1 day ago: I just realized Marge hasn’t posted in 29 days. I hope she is okay. She is the lady in Germany. Hello Dry and Dusty and all the other friends here: I’m fine, thank you! There was no reason why I didn’t post. Maybe only the time. I do have so much favorites here at GoComics and all need time to watch and read and often I only enjoy. Sorry, I don’t want you to be worried about me. Sometimes I’m thinking it would be nice to give a “Thumb up” here – like in Facebook. So you will recognize I was here. It would be easier for me – you know about my bad English! ;) Another thing is: I was a proofreader at a daily newspaper – it hurts a proofreader’s heart to make typos. With my bad English I will make so many errors. ;) Oh no, you know I’m now just kidding! Thank you so much for your concern! I appreciate this. Thank you very much, dear friends here at Ten Cats!
Good to hear from you, Marge. I had a Russian Blue named Simon. He had a quiet voice and was the most loving, loyal cat I’ve ever had. He passed away in 2000 at age 16.
Gruss Gott Marge! Your English is great! The more wine I drank the better my German was(sounded like it to me anyway) I always say never trust a smiling cat but the laughing out loud ones have nothing to hide! Keep in touch!
