Oliver is the epitome of the person that is so nice that they get taken advantage of. I think that is the biggest reason that he is my favorite of all the ten cats.I see a little of me in there.Woof is a very close second, for the same reason.
Miscreant the excellent exterminator is on the way. The day I brought him home at 8 weeks, he brought me 5 mice he killed just for me. I even put him in the drop ceiling and he dropped down 3 more mice a couple weeks later. Now that he is 12 yrs old rats are no problem. Maybe he can fix Chesney’s attitude while he’s there.
Pam, sending prayers your way. There are good places everywhere to follow up on your hips. Some places like Lubbock are cheaper to live in. College towns often have more affordable housing and we are very pet friendly here!
Happy that little bunny is adorable! As much as you love Bunnies, I don’t know why you don’t have a couple as pets, or would Sweetheart not like that too much? ;-) Or maybe “too much”?
I talked to the lady who adopted Stubby. She LOVES him! She said he lies in her arms and just purrs and purrs and purrs. Her dogs ignore him and her other cat is slowly warming up to him. Stubby tries to play with the other cat by playing with her tail and pouncing on her. She told me to tell Corrine (in KY) thank you for loving him and taking care of him until he found his forever home.
@daleandkristem (from yesterday), I’m thinking Halloween is the way to go – easy to remember and no offended family :) The boys names are Sam (more white on him) and Dean though Sam usually gets Sammy.
@Gweedo, the boys won’t eat tuna by itself – has to mixed with another flavour – but I’m sure I can find them something as a treat for their “birthday” :)
I got up this morning and started moving around.Fed the dog, take her out, take a shower…I started feeling a bit better so i decided to go out and get some stuff done.I needed a few things from the grocery store, and i had some paperwork to drop off at the office.Well the boss was there and not at one of her clients. Its not going to show up in my total, but i received a promise of $500 from her!And more, she said that occasionally the office receives cash donations from family members of clients in the name of clients that have passed. She wants me to have those as well.WOW!Im humbled.
Puppyface, maybe your sources at the hospital haven’t turned over every stone. When a dear friend went blind, she thought she could find resources for her at her doctor’s office, but every helpful organization she has came from friends searching for her. I don’t know Denver at all, as I am from Chicago, but I would check with Catholic Charities, Lutheran Family services, and the Salvation Army (you do not need to be from their religions to receive help), as well as the United Way for help seeking housing. I had some time this afternoon, and I found these links which I hope will prove to be helpful: http://www.seniorsresourceguide.com/directories/Denver/search.php?region=CO04&topic=110
Went for my yearly physical today. Turns out I have a problem with my heart and need to see a cardiologist. I’ve been getting chest pains and apparently my EKG showed the problem. Any prayers would be appreciated. Thanks. Hugs, Rose
Sending prayers and positive thoughts to everyone who needs them. Been trying to post but this Boston computer is slower than molasses on a cold day. Called the water department and they’re sending me a claim form.

Oliver is just too sweet for his own darn good! But then, if he wasn’t, he wouldn’t be my favorite! :-D

I know they are fussy. All my previous cats loved tuna but these 2 won’t eat it. I’ve even offered them some of my fish when I have it and no go.
