Hmmph. My aunt told me a story last night that highly disturbed me. She knew a couple who had a big ol’ tom cat, she wasn’t sure how old he was. One year for Christmas, the wife put up the Christmas tree, and their cat sprayed it. So she took down the tree, and went and got a new one. He sprayed the new one too. So she got fed up, and decided to have the cat put to sleep. All because he did what came naturally to him, and possibly could have been corrected – marking his territory. What is wrong with people, if they think a Christmas tree, something that is only up for a short period of time, is more important than the life of their pet?
