………….re: there turf hereYou haven’t lived til you look behind you and find a coyote following you on your walk.Dale and I followed one across the street and watched him go through an open garage door and out the side door completely surprising a woman doing her wash. She looked at us and said (predictably) “was that what I think that was” Yep! they are all over up here in the PNW. sadly, not too many stray kitties around.

We survived! The Alberta Street Faire was a mild success. we didn’t sell as much as we hoped (considering all the work we put in sewing for it). I don’t think BOHO has hit Portland yet, most of the girls were in short shorts and combat boots.It didn’t hit 90 until 3pm and by 4pm a nice breeze came up, so the heat wasn’t too bad. I only brought carrots, celery and cucumbers to eat, thinking we would get something, but there were no food vendors! So we subsisted on watermelon water from the booth next to us and afterwards Dale and I drove straight to Carl’s Jr for chicken burgers!

What they are really thinking….

@bbear: I actually laughed at loud at this one. ’Wouldn’t use her new bed until we put a box in it.’ So funny, so true.

@Paula: I think we in the north east will start to see some relief from the heat/humidity by Monday night. Today was just the WORST EVER.
