To all the fantastic posters at 10 Cats who have sent me well wishes following my recent (3 1/2 days ago) total left hip replacement, THANK YOU so much. I was only in the hospital just over 24 hours, so have been busy with getting used to a walker, therapy, exercises etc. My care giver has been my daughter (medically trained) who has turned out to be a real “slave driver” to mom. I am getting around very well, walking outside and up and down the 150 foot driveway. The road has speeds not conducive to “handicap walking”, just fully functional walking, which should be in another 7-10 day. Had a small set back, some swelling, but that is under control with ice. I just finished catching up on the last few days of posts, so will be here each day from now on. Thank you all, again, for your support, wishes, cheers, as well as the pictures.——Whisplicka
