I just watched one of the Mickey Mouse shorts from a couple days ago. It was in German and I don’t remember much of the German I learned in grade school and junior high, but I got the gist of the story. It was a good one. I’d like to see more, but library computer time is limited so I’m on to other stuff now. I’ll have to watch more later. I like it when some of you post Simon’sCat here too, though I have a friend who also forwards those to my e-mail. Love Simon’s Cat!

Ooooo! I was just looking back at older strips (I’ve been reading from the biginning and I’m up to 9-29-14. I’ve already copied everything from 2016, so just one more year ofstips to copy and read. Anyway, ther was a recipe that day from Dry and Dusty for pear pie. I ought to try it with peaches from my tree! I wonder if it would work?

Happy birthday over the Rainbow Bridge to my sweet orange boy, Colin….9/29/2001-12/12/2011We brought him home from Noah’s Ark Rescue Shelter on a Sunday in late Jan. 2002. His ‘sisters’ Kristen and Dale wanted nothing to do with him. After several years Dale broke the ice and became his playmate. Colin outlived both Kristen and Dale and became the ‘big’ brother to babies Oliver and Tyler in November 2011. They adored Colin. Sadly, he passed away the day after this picture was taken. Our pooch, Maxie, also loved his ‘orange’ brother. Now Maxie is our elder statesman! RIP faithful kitty. You are missed.
