Haha, good laugh this morning!!!

To answer some questions from yesterday: Yes, I do wear a wrist brace on my left hand. I use my right hand to use the mouse. As a teacher, I did a LOT of typing in the 70’s (70 wpm) and keyboarding in the 80’s, 90’s and 2000’s in until I retired in 2009. My keyboarding speed reached 105 words per minute due to constant use. Now it’s down to 5 with many errors. I was my school’s IT head as well as science teacher. So, yeah, I can see why I have carpal tunnel in Both wrists. Thank God, my right wrist isn’t painful (yet).

 

Possible call Monday about surgery date.

This is funny! Poor Annie. Chesney is hard enough to deal with when he is grounded.

After reading yesterday’s comments about thie beta thing that gocomics is swtching to next year, I’m more scared than excited about about it. No more Sherpa? I don’t look at Sherpa much, mainly due to time constraints using the library computer, but I know other people look at it. And it’s where Ten Cats started – where would we be without Ten Cats? Mostly I’m scared that it will change so much that they will delete all the pictures that had been previously posted over the years. Already lots of comments and pictures have disappeared – everything from Maykitten is gone – what ever happened to him? Even Eldo’s comments from months back disapeared and he’s still here. Who knows who els’e comments have disappeared?

So I was frantically copying comics and comments from Ten Cats going all the way back to the beginning. I finally caught up yesterday! Yipppeee! Now I can do it just one day at a time. I hope we’ll still be ableto copy and save comics and comments after we switch to beta. This is one of the few strips where I read the comments, but I have commented on other strips when I have time.

I’m thinking of getting Internet at home so I don’t have these time constraints like I have here. Going to the library is no big deal -it’s just one block from my house and sort of on my way to the post office which I go to right after my librar time so I can pick up my mail. But anyway, I’m considering an offer from Spectrum for my internet. I’m not interested in bundling with cable TV. I don’t want it or need it or have enough time to watch it. I just want internet. Have any of you had any experience with Spectrum (good or bad) that will help medecide if I should try them?

To Marge from a couple days ago – I had no idea when I dubbed us Graham crackers in the Graham clan it would result in someone learning about graham crackers! It just never occurred to me that people in other countries have different foods and sometimes different names for the same things we have here in the USA. Yes s’mores are yummy! Hard to eat without getting messy with gooey melted chocolate and marshmallow goo, so I usually keep a damp washcloth nearby when I eat s’mores so I can clean up. I understand they got their name because once you eat one, you want some more. I hope you get a chance to try them and I hope you love them as many of us do. Now I’m wondering – you don’t have graham crackers – do you have things like saltine crackers or Ritz (butter) crackers? I’m curious. Surely you DO have cookies – like chocolate chip cookies (ordo you call them something else?). I know you have cake- you call it kuchen (if I’m spelling that right).

Paul got his electrodes off this morning and is back to his usual cheerful self. We now have to wait until February when we see the specialist, unless he forwards the results to our health clinic.

When I was young, dogs got biscuits and kids got cookies. Now dogs frequently get cookies as well, but I don’t think kids get biscuits unless they are in the south and get biscuits and gravy. And those are not cookies.
