Annie, don’t let Santa see those letters! They’ll all end up getting coal in their stockings! On the other hand, you could use that coal to heat the warehouse…
Except for little Oliver and Woof, each should be getting sacks of coal. But, then, Santa is so forgiving that they might get crinkle balls and catnip mice and lots of goodies in addition to enough coal to heat the drafty warehouse.
I love the strip. It reminds me of my house on a cranky day for the cats. Some days they all vie for my attention then things get interesting to say the least. Everyone still gets catnip and crinkle balls though.
Funny strip today…bbear, I appreciate all your efforts! Have a great Christmas everyone.
It’s cold in central Cal!! Got down to 34 last night..colder tonight. Concerned about my oranges…probably be picking a lot of the ones on the outer edge today!!
Got beds and blankets for all the ferals. It is funny how normally “standoffish” cats will sleep with anyone who is warm! So the outdoor guys are bunking two or three to an igloo. I think I take care of about 15 of them..it varies. Just hate to see them get cold, but most have thick heavy coats, and usually a buddy to bunk with. Giving them a bit of extra food now as well. Indoor cats just lounge around fat and happy.
We will be showing two today at the Petsmart nearby. Some sort of special thing going on there…Muffin and Sugar may have new homes for Christmas.
Ill see you all tonight. We are having dinner for all the relatives who go to other relatives for Christmas.
I’m making it easy on myself by making a chicken tray bake from the BBC Food Magazine. You throw chicken thighs carrots and brussels sprouts in a pan with orange juice maple syrup and mustard and bake.
Annie might get her wish if she was here in the UK. They’re talking about a mail strike, rail strike and plane strikes over Christmas. Glad I’m not going anywhere. The boys have been on their best behavior – think they know Christmas is coming?
Annie, please take all those letters and use them for kindling!

My daughter moved to Manhattan yesterday morning (during our 1st snow storm) so I am taking care of ‘cousin Emma’ until after she and her fiancee return from Rhode Island after spending Christmas with his family. Poor little Emma…although my apartment is her ‘2nd’ home she meows to be let into hers…but there is no Mom, litter box, food or water.

How cute indeed! You cats are going to get enough coal to keep the warehouse warm.

Shouldn’t they be writing to Santa Claws?

To a cat, all you need to be happy is a fireplace and a warm butt.

Naughty naughty kitties! Must say Lily has nice handwriting even if it’s a mean note
My boys are not pleased that it’s snowing again today. It’s supposed to turn to rain tomorrow making the commute a nightmare, oh joy

I’m sure this has been posted here before, but it’s always a good read this time of year. http://www.corsinet.com/braincandy/hcatx2.html

We can hope that, Annie! But then, knowing Santa, with a heart as big as his, he will forgive Chesney, regardless! :-)

Neal: Bless you and all who take care of God’s smallest creatures (you too Queen).
