Shrimp tails au jus!

It has now been 5 days and I’m still slightly dizzy, am told it might last a month! I can’t bend over without feeling like I’m going to fall over, so anything that falls on the floor is either going to stay there or get picked up by somebody else!

And in bed at night I have a full symphony going on in my head! Whirring and ringing. Kinda interesting tho…

Laughingkitty, I just got back to learn of your tribulations. I am so glad you all survived! Best wishes to Marc, and I hope Mary had good insurance!

I am happy to report that Mark is making rapid progress in the hospital since the car accident. He is not so heavily sedated now and the breathing tube has been removed. But he can’t talk because he still has gauze in his mouth (I don’t remember why that is still there). The swelling on his tongue is way down, but part of it is still black. They still do not know if they’ll have to take off part of his tongue. He gave our brother, Joe, such a firm handshake today that Joe is feeling much more confident Mark will soon make a full recovery. The news on Mark so far is all good – so far no setbacks of any kind – just terrific progress. I’m sure the many prayers being said for Mark are helping.

I was back at work on Tuesday, getting lots of gentle hugs from co-workers (everyone afraid of a firm hug because they didn’t want to hurt me). They really did not expect me back at work today. But I had to go back sooner or later. Anyway, I have Wednesday off, so I figured it should not be too hard getting through one work day. Happy to say, my assistant manger gave me very light work to do, so I got through the day with ease. I’ll rest a lot today (Wednesday) though.

Haha, roaming charges for Chesney and his gang!

Roaming isn’t good for cats (or dogs) guys. You should sty home and nap.

Laughingkitty, I’m glad to hear Mark is getting better and that you seem to have suffered only minor ill effects from the accident.
