Sad news,,, I had to have my second calico, in 3 months, put down yesterday. She had cancer in her stomach and could not eat nor drink, had lost a lot of weight, there was no alternative, could not relieve herself due to the size of the mass. Flicka will be waiting, with Whisper, at the Rainbow Bridge for me and the rest of us when the time comes. I rescued her at about 4 or 5 weeks of age, and she was almost 15 years old. She went easily, peacefully, & purring in my arms, as was usual for her.
