Thanks for your comments. I apologize for not being able to respond while in the hospital.
While they gave me wonderful care that fixed up most of what I came there with and, most importantly, they got me stronger, they gave me a painful case of gout. My blood pressure was always above 160/xx, and my blood sugar usually was above 200 despite the food being inedible.
I come home and my first blood pressure last night was 144/67, my blood sugar was 89, my weight was 8 pounds less than they measured. (I didn’t suddenly lose the 8 pounds in one day at home) And my colon problems cleared up. In short, All problems cleared up.
Now, I have to take the advice of various health professionals for the last six years: walk with a walker at all times! All times! How humbling. As my strength increases and my health improves, I must remember to pace myself.
My cat refuses to take treats from me. He waits patiently for me to get ready for bed. Then he jumps onto my thigh and eats two treats. He then spits them out and walks out of my bedroom! I guess he is angry with me.
