Honestly, Chesney! Do you realize that if you go to another country, you might be put into quarantine in accordance to their travel rules? Would you want to spend your vacation in another country in a CAGE?

June 9 is

Children’s Day. I remember many years ago, I’d see it on the calendar – the Sunday before Father’s Day. You don’t see it on calendars these days. Not that it was ever observed in my family (and not likely celebrated in many other families either).

National Earl Day (whatever that means. Is it for everybody named Earl? Is there a National Becky Day for me?)

National Donald Duck Day. I love that duck!

National Strawberry/Rhubarb Pie Day. I have some strawberries in my fridge and rhubarb ready to pick in my yard, but I don’t really have time to think about baking a pie because I have to work. I was thinking about picking rhubarb on my next day off (Tuesday).

My cold was quite a bit better on Saturday. I only used up one and a half of those pocket packs of Kleenex. On Friday, I used up 4 of them and even resorted to using paper towels because I ran out of Kleenex. I slept okay Friday night, once I made that rumbling sound I was hearing in my chest go away.

Silly Chesney. Cats are the ultimate homebodies. They HATE going anywhere.

You want to go somewhere, Chesney? Try this on for size: Pow!! Zoom!! To the moon, Chesney!!!!

Poor Ches really does need a vacation.

No change on my cat story. She comes out of hiding in the morning, demanding attention. Goes back to hiding the rest of the day.

On the plus side, she seems to view the back bedroom as her sanctuary.

Would ‘treats’ entice her out? I can shake a container, and suddenly I have two around my ankles. Good way to find out where everyone is…

Can anyone see this comment? Am I un-banned?
