Innergize Day. I’ve heard of energize, but this innergize is a new one on me. Also new to my spell check which says I spelled it wrong.
National Punctuation Day. It seems like when they stopped teaching cursive handwriting in schools, they also stopped teaching punctuation. I see so many people write things in one long, run-on sentence with no periods, no commas, no apostrophes – NOTHING! It makes their writing very hard to decipher sometimes.
Schwenkfelder Thanksgiving Day. I knew my spell check was going to have a problem with that one, too.
National Voter Registration Day. I’ve been a registered voter since I turned 18,
National Cherries Jubilee Day. I think I’d rather have them in a cherry pie.
Patches update: a woman Susan met two weeks ago wants to adopt a “hard to adopt” cat. Susan told her about Patches but didn’t hear from her again until yesterday morning. This lady wants to keep him while we’re on out trip and if if works out withher current cat, keep him. I figured she’d want him on Friday but no, she wanted him right away. So, we took him to her office at 5 last night. I hope I hear from her today on how it went. She planned to keep him separated from her cat for a day or so. She had to take one of Patches kitty mats with his scent on it so her cat can get used to it.
UPDATE: I saw the hand specialist yesterday. He believes that my finger will be ok. He will take out the stitches and remove the dead skin on Oct 30. Thank you for all your prayers and best wishes.
