I just posted this list on yesterday’s strip because I need to go to bed because I have to get up in about 6 and a half hours for work, But then I took a quick look here and it just posted – just minutes ago. So here is the “holiday” list. I even fixed the typos. Now I can delete this list from yesterday’s strip.

National Mad Hatter Day. We had a sale on straw hats at my Walmart. Regularly $9.98 reduced to $1. We’re trying to unload some stuff before inventory day, Oct 15 and they’ve been reducing prices like crazy on stuff. There was a whole shopping cart full of hats when I got to work, but before my shift ended, they were all gone. I bet none of the “hatter” (people who bought the hats) were mad at the price of those hats. I know, that’s not what Mad Hatter Day is talking about.

National Noodle Day. I wonder if I should have noodles for supper after I get home from work?

National German-American Day. I have some German blood. My mom’s family was from Germany a few generations ago. My dad’s family was from England. I have a bunch of old family photos taken in a photography studio in Leeds, England. Too bad they didn’t write the names of any of the people in the pictures. I would like to know who they all were.

Annie had written such a lovely poem about you, Chesney, and you had to go and ruin it by setting off a siren somewhere.

UPDATE: my finger is better. The old skin is slowly coming off. The new skin is very tender. Have a great day my friends.

Uh oh, what did Chesney do now? Great poem! Very creative. :) Love the expressions in today’s comic too. On another note, saw a junco, a chickadee, and a woolly bear caterpillar while out walking today.
