Today is:

National Cookie Exchange Day. I baked sugar cookies yesterday, but I don’t have enough for a cookie exchange.

National Date Nut Bread Day. I don’t have any of that and don’t have time to make any before Christmas.

So there was a belated birthday party along with a Secret Santa exchange at Paul’s mom’s yesterday. I have 7/8 of a large slab birthday cake. Anybody in Barrie, feel free to come and get some.

Those 2 would drive it straight to Mousies.

…Licence? Is that British or misspelled?….

Jack and Chesney would be Lucky to Merely wrap the sled around a tree! Those two are capable of unimaginable mischief…..

Jack + Chesney + Santa’s sleigh = Christmas mayhem!….But what fun they would have.

I feel like I’ve turned the corner on my food poisoning/gastric problems. I woke up again last night vomiting into my mouth but the pressure of mu cpap kept it there. I drank some alka-seltzer, burped (repeatedly) and went back to bed. Of my other symptoms (on the other end), they have gone away (Thank you God). Now I feel very weak and sleepy which is symptomatic of being on the end staged of being ill.

And, try as Santa might, he’s not up to Freya’s level of Cat Herding.

Smart move, Santa. On another note, saw two planes flying over while out walking today. Also heard a chickadee and a crow.
