And that is why we lock the cats up while decorating the tree.

Then climb into the tree and ride it down!

I usually end up with quite a few ornaments on the floor by this time, but so far, the cats have only knocked a few ornaments off the tree. I do see the tree shaking sometimes though.

I hope Graham and our other Canadian friends have many boxes filled with goodies and joy on this their holiday, which will likely be celebrated quite literally by Jack and Chesney.

I’ve got a 6 week old female orange kitten coming today. Details and pictures to follow. I’ve never named cats before so I hope Bill comes up with a good name.

Cats are to Christmas ornaments what Godzilla is to Tokyo. Still, we love them anyway. :) On another note, saw some golden crowned kinglets while out walking today.
