I did it! I was so afraid of trying to put on new windshield wipers on my car – afraid I’d figure out how to take off the old ones, but not how to put on the new ones (which looked different than the old ones). I bought some Rain-X wipers at Walmart. We don’t have a tire/lube express in our store, so no auto-techs to help me. But by going to Rain-X, com, I was able to get a video on how to install them. The video did not tell how to remove the old wipers, but I had figured that part out. It took me a while to figure out what type of wipers I had, but once I figured that out, I knew which video to watch. I had to watch it twice in order to catch on, but once I did that, it took all of 5 seconds or so to put a new blade on. It’s going to be great finally having good wipers. My old ones were very worn out.

A while ago the cap on my soda bottle fell & disappeared. I wasn’t that interested in moving things to find it. A few weeks ago, Boots was desperately trying to get to something under the computer table. Was afraid it might be a bug or spider (I don’t mind the occasional small lizard) I looked. It was the bottle cap. I fished it out & she started playing with it immediately. I left it on the floor among all her other toys & she does like to bat it around. Wonder why I spend money on toys.

And as I treat them with catnip, oh what a sightas they with glazed eyes, curl up on the couch,and laugh, as they put me out for the night!

Why would any formerly-worshiped-as-a-god cat want to trade places with their hooman slave?

Excellent poem as usual! BTW Snow Sez is fun today.

To daleandkristen, my family not far flung? How about a cousin in Hawaii, others in Albuquerque NM, Washington DC, Czech Republic, brother in Denver, sister in Columbus OH, brother in Blacksburg Va, niece in Indiana, nephew in Pittsburgh, another in Raleigh NC, niece in Colorado. I live in WV so you could say we are spread out.

Wonderful poem. :) I have a bowl on my desk that I keep pieces of gum in. My cats love taking pieces out and batting them around. Kitty soccer! (I always make sure to pick the gum off the floor before it gets stepped on after they’re done.) On another note, saw a raven while out walking today.
