There are lots of other users of the “swoosh” particularly nike. Recently Seattle’s new SR 99 tunnel got in the act with commercials demonstrating going “under” downtown with hand gestures. Strange but I have not found those ads with multiple searches. I wonder if they were suppressed.

Anyway, I am sure Jeff appreciates the thought, kitty. Did you paint that with fresh horkage? Or worse?

I think I will never have to leave the house ever. I can get anything on line, my car will last forever, I only need pajamas, don’t care what I look like cause nobody will ever see me. And I got tv! It’s the perfect life!

On that note, if you are having trouble ordering groceries, go to Target. We got everything on our list, the shopper texted us with substitutions, and we got them the next day! And for a membership fee we signed up for a personal shopper who will get anything Target has! And SIL found a place to deliver wine.

My daughter and I set up the office to sew masks, we’re gonna give them to the neighbors.

Don’t think Jeff wears that around the house, anyway I hope not! And I just realized it’s claw work. Nicely done and very artistic!

Jeff B does philanthropy in very personal ways. A restaurant near the HQ was shut down probably forever. He hired them to make thousands of meals per week for homebound elderly and disabled people living in subsidized housing.

    BBEAR’s Friday posts:

    1. There are two perks of working at home: not having to wear long pants and this fuzzy friend.

    2. Orion is loving that I am working at home and fell asleep on my hand while I was finishing my coffee this morning. Now I must wait until he wakes up to start working. Worth it!

    9. Day 7 of Covid-19 Quarantine: There’s been another sighting of the cable monster. I can’t say how long before my connection to the internet is permanently severed. Drastic measures must be taken!!

I could care less about the stay in place rules. It’s just like being retired but with artificial toilet paper shortages.

However… I am frustrated because 1) I paid for new countertops for my rental garage apartment kitchen. They deposited the money, measured for it, said it would be five days and four days later the governor shut the state down (and rightly so). 2) I went to the dentist and got a perfectly good crown destroyed to fix two cavities and got a temporary put in. My dentist’s office called me and said my new crown is in but the Dentist wasn’t going to be in until the crisis is over. 3) I can’t get my state inspection or oil change “until the crisis is over”.

I made a prototype mask last night in about 5 minutes. I’ll make a better one today. Because I make kitty mats and quilts, I have more fabric than you can shake a stick at. If I knew anyone here who wanted to make some masks, I would gladly give them fabric. I don’t anticipate needing one often since I don’t go out. I did go out yesterday – we took the recycle stuff to the bins in St George. (It’s the only place they have bins for cardboard and with online ordering, we had a lot to get rid of) It was nice to get out into the fresh air, but that was all we did. It’s finally nice enough that I can take my Kindle and go sit on the patio now.

That’s a bad kitty, but at the same time, a creative kitty. On another note, saw a robin while out walking today.

My daughter and I took the Kawasaki mule and 3 dogs over the bridge across I-40 to drive around my soybean field. As soon as we pulled in, a herd of deer took off into the woods. We parked and let the dogs out to run (90 acres, so lots of room). We found two mysterious holes in the ground, I took pictures and sent then to my neighbor who knows everything…he texted back that they were armadillo dens. We walked a lot, then sat in the mule and watched the dogs smelling everything and having a good time. It was great to spend a lot of time out of the house. I do walk to the barn 2 x a day but that is just about 15 minutes of time outside. It only sprinkled rain today, but the next 7 days on the weather report show rain. So I’m glad we got out today.

Not sure if it was intentional, but I like how the comic shows Jeff’s eyes a bit crossed as he really does have a lazy eye in real life. lol
