You don’t want to roast parsley. That stuff reeks when it’s burnt.

I’m a meatitarian. I did have to ask my SIL to cut back on the fancy dishes. I’ve gained 5 pounds!

Grilled bok choy is pretty good. And lots of other vegetables.

Annie’s sandwich sounds gross to me. She could eat a peanut butter & jelly sandwich – no meat there.

National Merry-Go-Round Day. Oh, the dizzy memories I have of our grade school playground merry-go-round!

National Thread the Needle Day. When did they start making the eyes on the needles so much smaller? I used to be able to thread a sewing machine needle so easily, but now, it’s nearly impossible! I have some sewing I want to do and it’s a bigger project than I want to do by hand. I’m making a new canopy for my grill gazebo. The old one has a big long rip in it – the entire length of it. And I’m having an awful time threading the needle on the sewing machine. I’m doing a small sewing project by hand. Some hand sewing needles have bigger eyes so I can thread with no problems. But that sewing machine needle is giving me fits! I cannot get it threaded. I know what you’re all thinking – NAW! It can’t be that my eyes aren’t as good as they used to be! It’s a conspiracy – that’s what it is! They really ARE making sewing machine needles harder to thread! They’re all against me! That’s it! Isn’t it? LOL

I think the boys would like one of my favorite…tuna and peanut butter sandwich!

Yesterday, I took in two kittens to foster for a while. They’re not siblings but were trapped together so they don’t snuggle together. They’re part wild so I have to see if I can tame them a bit. This morning I was able to stroke each one several times but I didn’t want to overdo it. I let Moose in and he sniffed one but was more interested in their food. They ate their wet food last night, had some kibble and water. They used the litter box which was great because they came from outside I didn’t know if they’d know what to do. Best Friends has promised my friend (the one I’ve talked about here) they would take all of the kittens she trapped but yesterday was a state holiday here so they were closed. I’m hoping this woman calls on Monday. So far, she’s trapped 25 cats and kittens at her house. This tells you what she’s dealing with concerning those horrible people behind her. It’s where they all come from.

Annie needs to make an appearance at the newly renovated vegan Fatty Snax Deli over at Mutts. Chesney and Jack “might” pick up a little humility from Earl and Mooch.

Wait…there’s meat in hot dogs?

Jack & Chesney should take their show on the road………..and give Annie some peace for awhile.

Aw, come on guys, stop hassling Annie and let her eat what she wants to eat! On another note, saw three rabbits, a finch, and some robins while out walking today. I also saw a sparrow outside.
