Oh drat! It’s the gray box again!

From yesterday’s comments, happy, happy, happy said, “When i was cat sitting at the shelter i found that the more i played with the other ones the more interested the shy and scared ones became what was happening.”

This is how I tamed a kitten that was dumped on me back in 2005. I saw this young kitten hanging around my garage, but I couldn’t get him to come close enough for me to catch him. One day, I was out with a couple of my young cats and I saw this kitten who seemed very interested in my cats. I got a toy – like one of the fishing pole type toys and I got my cats playing with that and that really intrigued the kitten. Then I used the toy to lure the kitten into playing. It took a few tries to get him enticed enough to play with the toy and to sort of forget I was at the other end of the toy. Once he got close, I was able to touch him and even pick him up and I brought him in the house. I named him Heathcliff. He’s a sweet, loving cat but he still gets scared outside so he’s strictly a house cat

Washing windows is hard work, not that any of them will ever know.

Hopefully, the Kittie’s latest venture won’t turn to be a total washout. On another note, saw three rabbits (including a little baby bunny) and a robin while out walking today. It was warm out. Perhaps a little too warm. I don’t like it when it’s really hot. (Or really cold, to be fair.)
