I called for an appt this morning, but by the time I got thru they were filled. So no vaccine…sigh

The other places are at the other end of the valley and I don’t drive on freeways. Double sigh.

I went to the ER yesterday and got a cat scan and x-ray. I told one and all that I had absolutely no intention of staying. So they gave me a prescription for ciproflaxin, dressed me and pushed me out the door. Cipro works! The bleeding has stopped.

Chez Chesney actually serves food?

I’m late to the proverbial parties but happy birthday to LROS and BBear.

Our HOA is trying to set up a thing with Walgreens to have them come here and do the shots. The HOA manager said that so far, Walgreens doesn’t know when they’ll get the vaccines. I called the pharmacy we use and was told that so far, no pharmacy has been given any time frame. If you’re in the 70+ group, you can call the UT health dept on Monday and schedule a shot. I’ll call, but have a feeling those slots will be gone in a flash.

I used to work for a County Health Department. One day my boss and I were in the field and got served some really lousy food at a burger place. I suggested we tell them we were from the Health Department to put “the fear” into them. He nixed the idea. We were in Air Pollution Control.

Well played mice, well played. It takes guts to pull a fast one on Chesney. On another note, saw a varied thrush while out walking today. I also saw a red tailed hawk outside.
