From yesterday’s comments to Saucu1121, who said, " Picked almost 13 lb of strawberries yesterday. Have baked 4 loaves of strawberry bread with plans to do at least 6 more (I give a lot away)."

I’ve never had strawberry bread, but it sure sounds good! Do you have a recipe to share? It isn’t strawberry season here yet for another 2-3 weeks or so (I have blossoms on my strawberry plants), but I could use the recipe later

I’m surprised they didn’t list the cost in shrimp tails.The wind has been so fierce here the pas three days that it took part of the rain gutters clean off of the wall by the garage. It took part of the neighbors’ off, too. The gutter guy is coming out this morning to re-attach it.

In other words, beat it, Rover! A dog going down the road playing a harmonica. That would be quite a sight. On another note, saw two butterflies, a towhee, five robins, two sparrows, a mouse, and a Stellar’s jay while out walking today.
