National Lucky Penny Day

National Taffy Day

It is also the first day of my 5 day vacation (only 3 working days off, since my regular days off are Mondays and Thursdays). I’m happy about getting away from work for a few days, but the weather is not going to be to my liking. Monday through Thursday, they are predicting high temperatures only in the low 60’s. About 20 degrees cooler than I like it. No rain predicted today, but rain is predicted for Tues – Thursday. Not really what I wanted to hear, as I had planned on spending most of my vacation time outside in the daytime. It looks like I might be stuck indoors more than I’d like. It’s supposed to go up to temperatures I like (around 80 degrees) when I go back to work on Saturday.

I’ve always used the expression “Every dog shall have his day, and good dogs shall have two.”

For those of you who don’t get it mailed- SNOW SEZ IS BACK!

WHY do those dogs even listen to K-ATZ Boneyard Hour?? HOORAY FOR SNOW’S RETURN TODAY!!!!!!

Boy, those are some peeved pooches. If they don’t like it, they shouldn’t listen to it. I bet the cats that were listening found it funny, though. On another note, saw six robins, two rabbits, two Wilson’s warblers, a millipede, and a damselfly while out walking today.
