I felt like I was making progress with the kittens tonight. Cassie jumped on top of their cage and the kittens were very curious about her, climbing up to try to smell her. So, I used a comb on a couple of my cats (Cassie and Felix) and I stuck the comb through the bars so they could sniff the fur. The black kitten and the gray one both started playing with the comb and they even sniffed at my fingers without hissing. Meanwhile, Annie laid there, hissing. They also showed a lot of interested in a cat toy – a chirping bird. They have other toys which they like, but the tweeting bird was extra intriguing to them. Then just as I was close to getting the kittens to play with my fingers, one of the cats knocked something over and the crash scared everyone. But at least it felt like I made some progress.
It must be easy to recognize an obnoxious voice like Chesney’s. They really need to be more grateful. She actually cooks for them. Most cats get their dinner out of a can or a bag. On another note, saw a spotted towhee, two chickadees, a robin, two butterflies, a dragonfly, and a Wilson’s warbler while out walking today.

I thought it was both funny snarky, not sure I would have put him on the loading dock. But then, I probably would never put him on the loading dock.
