There’s a new video game called Stray, where the main character is a stray cat trying to escape a world of robots etc. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stray_(video_game)
Players have been modding the game character to match their own cat (Or Garfield). Here is the real-life voice actor of the game with the animated lead feline :-)
From yesterday’s comments to JLChi who asked (in reply to my comment about my garden), “Are you selling the green beans? I can eat a lot of green beans, they’re so good, but not 16 pounds.”
Yes, I do. I save some for myself, but I sell most of them. I work at Walmart (I’ve been there for 17 years) and Walmart stores do fund raising for Children’s Miracle Network (CMN). Back when I first started working there, all the Walmart stores were competing to see which one could raise the most money for CMN (we no longer compete and I really miss that). We would really go all out to win for our store. I wanted to help our store win our market area. I especially wanted to see us beat the Super Walmart because they’re so much bigger than we are. But I was barely scraping by and couldn’t afford to donate money, not even in small amounts. Then I got the idea of planting a few extra green beans in my garden and selling them in the break room and giving that money to CMN. I buy my seeds from a seed catalog, which costs FAR less than seeds in stores & garden centers. A couple dollars gets me around 500 seeds. As long as I’m buying the seeds for myself, I just plant a bunch of extra seeds so I have beans to sell. My beans were such a hit that every year since that first year (about 16 years ago), people are asking when I’ll have beans. I later added tomatoes and squash. I have a lot of demand for green tomatoes these days. This year, I added zucchini. The first few years, I was probably raising around $50 a year (I didn’t keep close track). Now I’m raising over $100 a year. Last year, it was $141. The year before that, it was $132. This year’s goal is $150. So far this year, I’ve raised $43 towards that goal (zucchini has been a hit)
My chihuahua is the small fry among my 3 small dogs…she cannot tell you how many times she has been on the “tail end” of those other two!! She is not amused….lol
Hello to all of you! Thank you for all your help, my dear Ten-Cats-Friends! It was a problem with the software Malwarebytes. I do not know why Malwarebytes thought GoComics was a riskware. I could fix it while I add the IP-address of GoComics to the allowed list and – voilà – here it is, my GoComics with all my good friends and with all the comics! Now I am happy again! ♥ ♥ ♥
Another good idea. Just make sure the dog’s friendly first. (Of course, there a lot of nice dogs out there.) On another note, saw five robins, two rabbits, and a squirrel while out walking today.

Also from yesterday’s comments. About the weather, Perkycat told tad, “Make that never get hotter than eighty-five degrees or colder than 50 degrees”
I agree! I can handle hotter than 85, but I’d be happy if it never got hotter than 85 and I’d love it if it never got colder than 50 degrees.

I have to say, that is clever of the cats. (Don’t think it would work for long, though)

We had another storm/monsoon roll through last night. Before that, though, it was super humid around noon.

Whenever our dachshund Angel got loose, the only way to catch her was to steer her toward a passerby so that she’d lie down for a belly rub.
