NATIONAL CLEAN OUT YOUR REFRIGERATOR DAY. I really need to do this!

NATIONAL SPICY HERMIT COOKIE DAY. I’ve never had spicy hermit cookies, but I just baked chocolate chip cookies, so that’s what I’ll be eating.

AMERICA RECYCLES DAY

NATIONAL BUNDT DAY

NATIONAL RAISIN BRAN CEREAL DAY. Just what I was planning to eat today. Maybe after I get home from work though, rather than for breakfast.

I LOVE TO WRITE DAY. True for me every day!

Gas here is $3.699 a gallon. At least, that’s what I paid yesterday. But it seems like it changes nearly every other day. Who knows what it will be tomorrow? Will it come down or will it go up again?

This strip reminds me of my daughter, when she was young, handing me the Christmas catalogue with pages folded down and items circled. She could have filled a couple of small volumes each year.

I can’t think of a thing I want or need, except more books of course, but that’s always.

I was thinking of the lottery when it was up to a billion and I thought I would like that because there are so many good charities I could give the money to and so many ways to help people and animals and the environment, etc. (And I would buy myself a nice home, too.) But then I thought no, it would make me crazy because there is always more need, and I can’t solve the world’s problems.

I’m ready for mama cat and her babies. I have a long, low, plastic storage box that should be perfect for the babies.I thought it would be easier to just keep changing out the towels than trying to keep a big pet bed clean.I picked up a big bag of Royal Canin food for nursing mamas and newborns. I thought about taking the cat tree out of that room but decided to leave it. It’s a low one that she can use to watch them if she wants.

Really, Chesney? If want Santa to bring you some goodies, you might want to try being nicer to Annie. On another note, saw four golden crowned kinglets, a squirrel, two wrens, and a rabbit while out walking today.
