GET TO KNOW YOUR CUSTOMERS DAY. Get to Know Your Customers Day reminds businesses to reach out to patrons and get to know them better. The day is observed annually on the third Thursday of each quarter (January, April, July, October). Thursday is my day off, so I don’t get to know customers on those days.

Good grief girls, off to the loading dock?

Nothing says commercialism like a paid national day. For those in sales, it’s best to know which customers you need to hide from. Some be crazy.

Cats.

Lily tells the boys to keep it down and they turn on her with sexist, misogynist name calling? Not very Graham-ish. I’m shocked and disappointed.

At least the mice are entertained.

In college, one of my professors had us wrote down all the vile names used to refer to women and all the vile names used to refer to men. He then collected them and started to read the lists aloud to the class. The vile names for men list had two names on it (one being “son of a B” — essentially insulting a woman). The vile names for women list was many pages long and after reading a few dozen and waving the pages at us, he quit, saying he thought the point was made, but I had become nauseated long before he quit and I had to leave the room.

The word “catty” exists for a reason.

Boy, talk a bout hypocrisy! At least the mice are entertained. (They’re not the only ones.) On another note, saw eight golden crowned kinglets while out walking today.
