CALL IN “SICK” TO WORK DAY. I made that one up, because at this point, I am about 90% sure I won’t be going to work today. I’m “sick” only on the basis that I’m sick of snow. And they’re predicting a big storm today with snow and sleet. Depending on how the storm tracks (or which TV channel you listen to), they say we could get 4 inches or more of snow or we could even get up to an inch of ice. Most of the schools in the area already closed classes for the day based on the weather forecast. It’s 2:30 in the morning now (they made the call to close the schools several hours ago) and it isn’t snowing yet, but it’s expected to start in a few hours. WE had a trace of snow last night. I’m looking forward to NOT going to work and using some of my many “sick” hours that I accumulated over the years. If the weather turns out as they predicted, it will be a great day to stay home. I’m up for that! Just hoping we don’t get sleet and freezing rain! Snow is bad enough. Ice is much worse.
Moose and Blackjack pretty much get their way, for sure.We got snow in the early morning hours. It quite beautiful. It’s still a little wndy but not like last night. I can’t see the mountains – the sky is so grey.

Graham looks a little worn out. Living with Ches every day is tiring!

My cats rule my world, and I don’t mind a bit. They are benevolent little tyrants.

Cats definitely rule the World. We humans only THINK we’re in charge! On another note, saw four juncos and four robins while out walking today.
