Dogs and tuna fish can coexist with cats.

I can even coexist with dogs and tuna fish….that reminds me, I have to get tuna. I’m out and I have a need for a sandwich. I’d rather coexist with cats. Not so needy.

What is better than a world without dogs? That’s easy! It’s a world WITH dogs! While I personally prefer cats, I still love dogs.

National Strawberry Shortcake Day. I might be buying strawberries today (it depends on if they have any. Our recent cool days have slowed down the ripening). But I prefer strawberries without the shortcake. Just a nice dish of strawberries, unadorned. Or with vanilla ice cream or Cool Whip. Or even on angel food cake. Or strawberries on angel food cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a big glob of Cool Whip.

Maybe I’ll pick up the makings for strawberry shortcake today. I’m not allowed to donate blood any more. I could use a good slug of bourbon.

What’s better than a World without dogs? A lot of things. (Too many to actually list.)Dogs aren’t my favorite animals, but it would be a real shame if they didn’t exist. On another note, saw a spotted towhee, four robins, a sparrow, a Steller’s jay, and a rabbit while out walking today.
