Off topic but I have questions. In 2019 my eye doc suggested cataract surgery. I went to see the surgeon. He said no, it wasn’t time. Two years later in 2021, we went thru the same thing. Last week, he said it again and maybe it IS time. I know what friends have said about the change in vison making things clearer, brighter, etc. I just don’t seem to have a problem with either. I mean, I still can thread a needle and sew. I still read road signs, I still read my Kindle. I admit that I did increase the font from 6 to 7. Dr D said this guy will do both eyes just two days apart. I have to assume he does laser surgery; I don’t think cutting is even taught any more.
So, my questions are: have any of you had it done? Laser or cutting? How was recovery? Was there a lot of after care? Did your vision improve or did you just notice colors and sharpness?
I seem to be more worried about this than any body surgery I’ve had.
